Embed Dashboards

To create a seamless, contextualized user experience, embed your Tableau Next dashboards directly into Lightning pages.

Embed the dashboards to bring insights to the forefront of user workflows, which eliminates the need for users to navigate to separate applications.

To successfully integrate a Tableau Next dashboard, the process involves two steps:

• Adding the Dashboard to a Lightning Page:
  • Navigate to the desired Lightning page in the Salesforce App Builder.
  • Add the Tableau Lightning Web Component (LWC) to the page.
  • Configure the component to point to the specific Tableau Next dashboard you wish to embed. This may involve providing the dashboard's URL or ID.
  • Save and activate the Lightning page to make the changes visible to users.

• Filtering the Dashboard by the Current Asset's Record ID: To display data relevant to the current Salesforce record, filter the embedded Tableau dashboard by the current Asset's record ID.
