Proactive Asset Service
Move beyond reactive repairs and embrace a predictive approach to asset maintenance. Proactive Asset Service combines the power of Data Cloud, Tableau, and Service Cloud to give your service teams actionable insights into asset health. By monitoring an asset's age, usage, and maintenance history, the solution calculates an overall health score that allows your team to anticipate issues and address them before they lead to costly downtime, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Prerequisites and Requirements
Before you begin the setup, make sure you have the correct licenses, permissions, and settings in place.
- Editions: Available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions.
- Experience: Available in Lightning Experience only.
- Licenses: Your org must have the following add-on licenses:
- Proactive Asset Service
- Field Service
- Entitlements
- Permissions: Users will need the following permission sets:
- Data Cloud Admin to manage Data Cloud.
- Service Cloud User to manage Service Cloud.
- Tableau Next Limited Consumer to view dashboards.

The Data Cloud integration for Tableau Next must be enabled.

The associated features must be configured with existing data to populate the dashboards.

Considerations
- Data Space Sharing: Sharing data spaces between two organizations isn’t compatible with this feature.
- App Installation Requirements:
- Home Org: The home organization's administrator must install the app using only their specific data space.
- Companion Orgs: Administrators of companion organizations must install the app
within their respective companion organizations.
Prerequisite for Companion Org App Installation: Companion organization administrators must not attempt to install the app until the home organization's administrator has established the data stream for companion organization data spaces within the home organization. Installation attempts made before this prerequisite is met will fail due to the unavailability of DMO objects.
