can provide feedback on features that are available only in the Development (Dev) channel for
sandboxes. Opt in to Dev channel and switch back to production (Standard channel) at any time.

Note Salesforce Release Manager is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services
Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot
Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms
Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole
discretion.
You can use these channels.
Development (Dev) channel: Preview and test features that are in development. The
Dev channel is available in sandboxes only. Features in this channel can lack accessibility
requirements and documentation. Features that are released in the Dev channel will be available in the Standard channel
when they are stable. You can override the default enablement state for certain features in
the Salesforce Release Manager Settings page.
Standard channel: An org uses the Standard channel by default. This channel is the
production environment that receives a major update every four months and weekly patch
updates.
Consider these guidelines when working with Dev channel features.
Dev channel features can be unstable and subject to breaking changes.
Dev channel features aren't localized, can lack documentation, and can fail to meet
certain accessibility requirements.
Salesforce can offer pilot, developer preview, beta, or generally available features in the
Dev channel.
Manage Release Channels With Salesforce Release Manager (SRM), your organization can preview and test upcoming features before their wider release. Opt in to the Development (Dev) channel in sandboxes for features that are in active development. Organizations use the standard channel by default.
