With Salesforce Release Manager (SRM), your organization can preview and test upcoming
features before their wider release. Opt in to the Development (Dev) channel in sandboxes for
features that are in active development.
Organizations use the standard channel by default.

To select an SRM channel:
Customize Application
The Salesforce Release Manager Settings page provides channels you can opt in for your org.
Standard channel is the default channel. The Development (Dev) channel includes features
that you can enable individually for your org.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Release Manager, and
then select Settings.
On the Salesforce Release Manager Settings page, opt in to a channel.
Review the message to confirm you’re switching to a different channel and click
Confirm. The Select button now displays as
Selected.
Refresh your browser to start using the features.
