          Add Certificate-Based Authentication to Your My Domain Login Page

          After you enable certificate-based authentication in Identity Verification, add the Certificate-Based Login button to your My Domain login page. Users can click the button to authenticate using their unique user authentication certificate.

          Required Editions

          Available in: both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in All editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To add certificate-based authentication to a login page: Customize Application

          Make sure that you’ve completed these steps before adding certificate-based authentication to your My Domain login page.

          1. From Setup, enter My Domain in the Quick Find box, then select My Domain.
          2. Under Authentication Configuration, click Edit.
          3. For Authentication Service, select Certificate.
            Select Certificate as an Authentication Service
          4. Click Save.
            The Certificate-Based Login button is now on your My Domain login page.
