          Rename User Authentication Certificates

          You can rename a user authentication certificate. To edit more than a user certificate’s name, delete the certificate, and upload a new PEM-encoded X.509 digital certificate.

          Required Editions

          Available in: both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in All editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To rename user certificates for authentication: Manage Internal Users
          1. From Setup, enter User Authentication Certificates in the Quick Find box, and then select User Authentication Certificates.
          2. Next to the certificate that you want to rename, click Edit.
          3. For Label, enter a new descriptive name for the certificate. The Unique Name field for the certificate auto-populates.
          4. Click Save.
