Events in Setup with Agentforce

Use Agentforce to get usage metrics for platform event usage in your org.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Foundations or Agentforce 1 Editions
User Permissions Needed
To use Setup with Agentforce:

The required permissions for Setup with Agentforce. See Grant Permissions to Use Setup with Agentforce.

AND

The required permissions for the task listed in the table.

Agentforce can help you with these tasks and requests related to event usage. For more information about the usage data you can query, see PlatformEventUsageMetric.

  • “What’s my event usage for the past 30 days?”

Event Considerations

  • To query event usage, you must have Enhanced Usage Metrics turned on in your org. You turn on Enhanced Usage Metrics via a metadata deployment. See Enhanced Usage Metrics.
  • The maximum time frame for which you can query event usage is 30 days.
  • If you query event usage without specifying a time frame, the agent will ask you for one.
