Set Up Enhanced Conversation Recommendations

By default, Setup with Agentforce conversation recommendations are personalized using your Setup Audit Trail and your Setup agent conversations. To improve your recommendations in searches and agent conversations, turn on Enhanced Conversation Recommendations. This feature collects your page views, CRUDs (create, read, update, and delete actions), and other runtime data, and then exports your insight to Data 360 and the personalization layer to improve Setup agent recommendations.

User Permissions Needed
To enable or use Setup with Agentforce: View permissions information.

Follow these steps to turn on Enhanced Conversation Recommendations.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and then select Setup with Agentforce.
  2. Make sure Agent Availability is turned on.
  3. Turn on Enhanced Conversation Recommendations.
  4. Finally, assign the Collect User Engagement Data for Insight Calculation user permission to admins and users who should get enhanced Agentforce recommendations in Setup with Agentforce. Agentforce bases these recommendations on their collected engagement data and insights.

When you turn on Enhanced Conversation Recommendations, these Data 360 components are created:

  • Data Kit: Engagement_A4S
  • Data Stream: Engagement_A4S-Behavioral Events
  • Data Model Objects (DMOs): Lightning Experience Engagement
  • Data Lake Objects (DLOs): Engagement_A4S-Behavioral Event

If you encounter issues with this feature, check that these Data 360 components are configured correctly:

  • If your data spaces were customized, verify that the Engagement_A4S-Behavioral Event DLO was added to the correct data space. For more information, see Add Data to a Data Space Using Data Lake Objects.
  • If your Data Governance policy was modified, verify that an active policy grants Setup with Agentforce users access to query these Data 360 objects. For more information, see Policy-Based Governance in Data 360.
