Access to community templates Kokua, Koa, Napili

Description When you  launch community designer, you get the message that Kokua, Koa or Napili are not accessible and you need to contact Salesforce support to enable it.

Before contacting Salesforce check below list to see whether you have enabled needed features.
Resolution What are the requirements to use the "Kokua" and "Koa" templates in the Community Designer?
  • Cases needs to be enabled. This is on by default for all the relevant Salesforce Editions.
  • Knowledge needs to be enabled. (and at least one Article Type created)
  • Communities needs to be enabled.

What are the requirements to use the "Napili" template in the Community Designer?
  • Communities needs to be enabled.
  • Chatter needs to be enabled.
  • Chatter Answers needs to be enabled.
  • Topics needs to be enabled. This is on by default for all the relevant Salesforce Editions.

If you have enabled above features, but still cannot access the Templates, please open a case with Salesforce
