The Marketing Cloud's Classic Content feature retirement was announced on October 18, 2020, and officially retired on April 24, 2023. Email and Content can only be created, edited, and viewed using Content Builder after April 24, 2023. Content Builder is our latest email content creation tool, initially offered in 2016, and includes enhanced functionality not available in Classic Content creation tools.
Why are Classic Content tools retiring?
Classic Content tools are retired and shifted customers to the expanded functionality of Content Builder. Content Builder is our standard for content creation, offering more security, functionality, and flexibility.
