An internal server error (922943177) while sending an email from a trial org

Publiceringsdatum: Jun 12, 2026
Beskrivning

When sending emails from a Salesforce Trial or Free org, users may encounter internal server error 922943177. This error occurs because Salesforce Trial and Free orgs have built-in email sending restrictions to help prevent spam. These restrictions limit both the total number of emails that can be sent per day and the number of recipients allowed per individual email.
If the configured email sending limit is exceeded, Salesforce blocks the outbound email and returns this error. This is expected behavior for Trial and Free orgs and is not a bug.

Lösning

To resolve or work around internal server error 922943177, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Verify the Daily Email Sending Limit Has Not Been Exceeded

Trial and Free Salesforce orgs have a significantly lower daily email sending limit compared to paid orgs. Check how many emails have been sent from your org today. If the daily limit has been reached, you must wait until the next calendar day for the limit to reset before sending more emails.

Step 2: Check the Per-Email Recipient Limit

Confirm that the number of recipients on the email being sent does not exceed the per-email recipient limit for Trial and Free orgs. Sending to a large number of recipients in a single email may also trigger this error.

Step 3: Upgrade to a Paid or Developer Org for Higher Limits

If your use case requires higher email sending volumes — such as for testing or development purposes — consider one of the following options:

  • Upgrade to a paid Salesforce org, which has significantly higher email limits.
  • Use a free Salesforce Developer Edition org, which has higher limits than Trial and Free orgs and is suitable for development and testing.

For the complete list of email sending limitations that apply to Trial and Free orgs, refer to the Additional Resources section below.
