When activating Tableau Desktop, the following error may occur:

Checkout failed: lc_checkout return information: -31 (LM_TOOEARLY)

Cause

The clock on your computer is set to a date prior to the current date.
Ratkaisu
Verify that the date and time on your computer is set to the current date.

If the clock on your computer is already set correctly, carry out the remaining troubleshooting steps in Resolve FlexNet licensing errors when activating or opening Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep Builder.
