Backup fails with error "Assembling the tsbak archive failed"

Cause

Tableau Server does not have required permissions to complete backup.

Resolution
Apply the following information:

1. Grant full permission to Network Service on Backup location. For example, if Tableau is installed on drive D and backup location is E:\backup, Network Service should have write permission on this folder.    

2. Confirm the administrator group is in the "Create Symbolic Links" local policy and or not being prevented by a group policy:
a. Select Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy.
b. In Local Security Policy, open Local Policies, select User Rights Assignments.
c. Right-click on "Create Symbolic Links" policy and then click Properties
d. Verify "Administrators" group is specified.
