Segment-Triggered Flows with Unpublished Segments Show a Completed Status But Don’t Run

Date de publication: Mar 26, 2025
Description

Segment-triggered flows must have a published segment to complete interviews with qualified segment members. If the flow has an unpublished segment set to refresh on the segment’s publish schedule, the flow doesn’t publish the segment. The activated flow prepares to run, but the unpublished segment doesn’t have any segment members, so the flow completes without running interviews. Because it's possible for the segment to be published before the flow runs, you don't receive a warning when you activate the flow.

However, if you configure your flow to republish the segment immediately before the flow runs, the segment is published at run time and interviews are completed with qualified segment members.

Résolution

Publish your segment before you activate your campaign flow or before the campaign flow’s first scheduled run. Alternatively, set the Start element to republish the segment when the flow runs. From the Related tab on the flow record, in the Flow Version Occurences section, you can confirm the number of interviews completed by the flow with qualified segment members.
