When viewing an Analytic Notification Report for a dashboard subscription, the Recipient User: Name field appears blank. This happens when the dashboard subscription was saved without enabling the 'Receive new results by email' checkbox — meaning no email recipient was registered.

For custom report types that use the "Analytic Notification" object, the "Recipient User: Name" field appearing blank is a result of the dashboard's subscription settings and is the expected behavior.
The checkbox on the dashboard subscription screen, "Receive new results by email when dashboard is refreshed," is used to designate recipients for email notifications.
If a subscription is saved with this checkbox unchecked, the dashboard's refresh schedule will be set, but no one will be registered to receive an email notification. As a result, the report considers there to be no recipient, and the "Recipient User: Name" field will be blank.
