About the Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional Exam

The Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional is designed for those who discover, design, plan, and deliver business value to customers with Financial Services Cloud. This exam is for individuals who want to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to design and implement Financial Services Cloud solutions that meet customer business requirements, that are maintainable and scalable, and contribute to long-term customer success, taking full advantage of the added value FSC delivers on top of core.

 

Audience Description: Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional

Accredited Professional exams are intended for Salesforce Partners with access to the Partner Learning Camp training and Partner Community.

Candidates for the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accreditation generally have 2-3 years of financial services consulting experience and experience designing and deploying solutions that support customer business processes and requirements using Salesforce applications. Candidates should have experience designing solutions using Financial Services Cloud (FSC) functionality, including the knowledge needed to determine appropriate solutions for customer scenarios, and can lead the implementation of these solutions within a customer organization. Further, candidates should be interested in demonstrating their expertise in cloud computing implementation, with a specialty in understanding and implementing FSC applications/solutions, and have developed the skills outlined below.

This exam guide is designed to help you prepare for the Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional Exam. This guide provides information about the target audience, the recommended training and documentation, and a complete list of exam objectives. Salesforce highly recommends a combination of on-the-job experience and self-study to maximize your chances of passing the exam.

 

About the Exam

Here are details about the Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional exam:

  • Content: 50 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions and up to five unscored questions
  • Time allotted to complete the exam: 75 minutes
  • Passing score: 55%
  • Version: Exam questions align to the Summer '24 release
  • Registration fee: US$150, JPY 20,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Retake fee: US$150, JPY 20,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered onsite at a testing center or in an online environment; find more information on scheduling an exam here.
  • References: No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam.
  • Prerequisite: None

This exam may contain up to five additional unscored questions to gather performance data. Unscored questions are randomly integrated and have no impact on your final exam result.

 

Exam Outline

The Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional Exam measures a candidate’s knowledge and skills related to the following objectives.

Discovery: 12%

  • Given a scenario in which a customer wants a Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solution, document the business needs, value, and vision of the customer to support their desired business outcomes.
  • Given a set of existing business processes and flows, understand the current state of business architecture and determine how to leverage FSC capabilities.
  • Given the business needs of a customer, identify different business processes and outline encompassing system flows based on the existing environment.

 

Define/Design: 42%

  • Given a set of requirements, identify the relationships, objects, and record types needed to meet the business requirements using the FSC data model.
  • Given the business processes/requirements for FSC, determine how to create the solution design utilizing the FSC industry best practices and FSC modules.
  • Given the business requirements, design the future state business processes.
  • Given the business requirements, architecture, and business processes, determine the appropriate organizational security and data access considerations.
  • Given a customer's hierarchical structure and geographic locations, determine the need for and configure the territory management hierarchy, multi-currency, and multi-language features in FSC.
  • Given a set of user stories, identify each story's product backlog priority, dependency, and size to align them to respective sprints.
  • Given the customer data requirements, create a data migration strategy considering the legacy and future state system landscape to ensure accuracy and referential integrity in data loads.

 

Delivery: 46%

  • Based on the final design for a project, perform the necessary steps for the initial FSC setup.
  • Based on the final design for a project, provision users and set up user interfaces and permissions.
  • Given a customer's sharing and security requirements, develop the appropriate FSC sharing rules to deploy.
  • Based on the final design for a project, configure the required objects and fields.
  • Based on the final design for a project, configure all fields needed for integration mapping and configure any integration users.
  • Based on information gathered from the user story, build reports and dashboards based on the defined Success Criteria.
  • Based on the final design for a project, understand how and when to leverage Salesforce Automation tools (Flow, OmniStudio, etc.).
  • Based on the final design for a project, configure Actionable Relationship Center (ARC), Householding, and Rollups.
  • Based on the final design for the project, configure the Lead object, build any queues, and create assignments.
