About the Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional Exam

The Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional Exam is designed for individuals who design, implement, and deliver business value to customers with Manufacturing Cloud. This exam is for those who want to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to design and implement solutions that meet customer business requirements and contribute to customer success.

 

Audience Description: Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional

Accredited Professional exams are intended for Salesforce Partners with access to the Partner Learning Camp training and Partner Community.

The Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional Exam is intended for an individual who has 2-3 years of experience as a Cloud consultant and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience designing and implementing Manufacturing Cloud solutions.

While the candidate’s skills may sit on a broad spectrum of technical and functional expertise, this person is, above all, a facilitator, driver, validator, and communicator. They should aim to use their technical and first-hand delivery knowledge to the benefit of proposed solutions. In this role, they will help translate business requirements to product solutions, and back again, to ensure all stakeholders and responsible parties are aligned with expectations, requirements, deliverables, risks, and alternatives.

The Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud Consultant generally has a minimum of 1 year of implementation experience and skills across the Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud solution. The Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud Consultant can grasp and utilize the following concepts:

  • Sales Agreements
  • Account Based Forecasting, Advanced Account Forecasting, Data Processing Engine (DPE)
  • Account Manager Targets, Partner Visit Management
  • Manufacturing Intelligence, CRM Analytics for Manufacturing

This exam guide is designed to help you prepare for the Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional Exam.   • Content: 50 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions and up to five unscored questions
  • Time allotted to complete the exam: 75 minutes
  • Passing score: 68%
  • Version: Exam questions align to the Summer '24 release
  • Registration fee: US$150, JPY ¥20,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Retake fee: US$150, JPY ¥20,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law

  • References: No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam.
  • Prerequisites: None

This exam may contain up to five additional unscored questions to gather performance data. Unscored questions are randomly integrated and have no impact on your final exam result.

The Manufacturing Cloud Accredited Professional Exam measures a candidate’s knowledge and skills related to the following objectives.

Discovery: 18%

  • MCAP.1.1 Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing business processes and workflows to identify and prioritize potential blockers and areas of improvement.
  • MCAP.1.2 Given a set of business requirements, analyze key performance metrics related to the current business processes, identifying pain points, integration of third-party systems, inefficiencies, and areas of potential improvement and develop actionable recommendations to address them.
  • MCAP.1.3 Analyze existing technical architecture to utilize proper data governance, system limitations, and dependencies.
  • MCAP.1.4 Given a set of business requirements, define a comprehensive rollout strategy for multi-country deployments, ensuring efficient and successful implementation of business initiatives.
  • MCAP.1.5 Given a set of business requirements, determine feature priority, project scope, and timeline.

 

Design: 28%

  • MCAP.2.1 Review and analyze the outputs of the discovery phase and map capabilities of Manufacturing Cloud to create the business design document.
  • MCAP.2.2 Develop a detailed technical design document that outlines the proposed solution's architecture, components, interfaces, data flows, and system interactions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • MCAP.2.3 Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis and accurately identify the need for customizations in order to bridge the identified gaps, ensuring that the implemented solution aligns with the organization's requirements and maximizes operational efficiency.

 

Configure and Build: 38%

  • MCAP.3.1 Given a set of technical requirements, set up users and permission sets.
  • MCAP.3.2 Given a customer's business and technical requirements, configure Manufacturing Cloud aligned with industry best practices.
  • MCAP.3.3 Given the business and technical requirements, set up a framework for partner engagement.
  • MCAP.3.4 Given the business's technical requirements, configure Manufacturing Intelligence to effectively translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • MCAP.3.5 Given the business and technical requirements, configure Manufacturing Cloud Service Experience.
  • MCAP.3.6 Given the business and technical requirements, implement the necessary steps to execute data migration.
  • MCAP.3.7 Given a customer's business model and requirements, build or configure integration to third-party systems.

 

Validate and Deploy: 16%

  • MCAP.4.1 Given a business's process flows, monitor and evaluate the system's performance against the business process flows, identifying deviations or areas of improvement.
  • MCAP.4.2 Given a defined business requirement, facilitate and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • MCAP.4.3 Given the business and technical requirements, load and validate data.
  • MCAP.4.4 Given the technical requirements, conduct system integration testing (SIT).
  • MCAP.4.5 Given the business requirements, deploy a rollout strategy utilizing the appropriate deployment tool.
