About the Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional Exam

The Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional Exam is designed for practitioners who have sustainability knowledge, skills, and experience to plan, design, and implement Net Zero Cloud solutions. This exam is for those who want to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in designing and implementing solutions that drive meaningful environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes. These practitioners function as guides who can map customer requirements to Net Zero Cloud functionality that help customers make a positive impact on sustainability.

 

Audience Description: Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional

Accredited Professional exams are intended for Salesforce Partners with access to the Partner Learning Camp training and Partner Community.

Typical job titles include roles that require a business consulting skillset, such as:

  • Consultants (functional or technical)
  • Business analyst
  • Solution architect
  • Solution engineer
  • Sustainability, ESG, carbon, or environmental management system (EMS) technology analyst
  • Advisory service practitioner

The duties and responsibilities of these roles include:

  • Aligning scope emissions (scope 1, 2, and 3)
  • Being able to understand the difference between scope 1 and 2
  • Being able to advise on the best structure for the customer
  • Data analysis and data analytics skills
  • Understanding the data a customer has and how it fits into a specific methodology
  • Understanding the data model to define the business in Net Zero Cloud
  • Looking at what a client does and being able to recommend what they should do
  • Understanding how to leverage greenhouse gas (GHG) protocol to map client data
  • Understanding how to source data into Salesforce
  • Understanding the difference between science-based targets
  • Understanding data input, such as integration or reference data

This exam guide is designed to help you prepare for the Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional Exam. This guide provides information about the target audience, the recommended training and documentation, and a complete list of exam objectives. Salesforce highly recommends a combination of on-the-job experience and self-study to maximize your chances of passing the exam.

 

About the Exam

Here are details about the Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional Exam.

  • Content: 55 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions
  • Time allotted to complete the exam: 75 minutes
  • Passing score: 61%
  • Version: Exam questions align to the Summer '24 release
  • Registration fee: US$150, JPY ¥20,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Retake fee: US$150, JPY ¥20,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered onsite at a testing center or in an online environment; find more information on scheduling an exam here.
  • References: No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam.
  • Prerequisite: None

This exam may contain up to five additional unscored questions to gather performance data. Unscored questions are randomly integrated and have no impact on your final exam result.

 

Exam Outline

The Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional exam measures a candidate’s knowledge and skills related to the following objectives.

Discovery: 24%

  • 1.1 Identify and prioritize use cases needed for successful implementation.
  • 1.2 Map a given use case to the appropriate Net Zero Cloud features or third party systems.
  • 1.3 Gather business requirements around sustainability to determine appropriate levels of access and correct outputs
  • 1.4 Given a customer's organizational reporting boundaries, determine Net Zero Cloud calculation needs.
  • 1.5 Translate a given set of reporting boundaries and defined set of NZC calculations, into CRMA reporting requirements.
  • 1.6 Given a customer's sustainability goals, map their data to the appropriate data model and calculations within Net Zero Cloud.
  • 1.7 Map a given set of customer use cases to the appropriate Net Zero Cloud licenses and third party applications.

 

Design: 31%

  • 2.1 Given customer requirements, determine how to design the UX to meet those requirements.
  • 2.2 Given customer requirements, determine how to configure the analytics (reports, CRMA, Tableau) tools to meet those requirements.
  • 2.3 Given customer requirements, configure the home pages and utility items aligned to user persona(s).
  • 2.4 Given customer requirements, design approval processes and declarative automation to meet those requirements.
  • 2.5 Given customer requirements, map external data sources to Net Zero Cloud objects.
  • 2.6 Given a list of prioritized use cases, know when to use out-of-the-box functionality vs customization.
  • 2.7 Given a list of existing data sources, determine how to migrate that data into Net Zero Cloud.

 

Implementation: 45%

  • 3.1 Given a scenario, determine how to configure Net Zero Cloud settings.
  • 3.2 Given a list of prioritized use cases, determine which standard platform features to enable and/or configure.
  • 3.3 Map a set of customer's requirements and data use cases to Net Zero Cloud functionality.
  • 3.4 Given a set of historical emissions data and business metrics, configure emission forecasting.
  • 3.5 Given a customer's sustainability goals, determine how to set up Target Setting.
  • 3.6 Given a customer's business requirements, configure CRM Analytics to allow for visibility into ESG metrics aligned sustainability goals.
