The Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant Exam is designed for individuals who design and implement the Revenue Cloud product on core with capabilities across Product-to-Cash.

This exam is for those who want to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to scope, design, build, and deploy Revenue Cloud solutions that meet customer business requirements and drive customer success and adoption.

 

Audience Description: Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant

The Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant Exam is intended for individuals who have broad knowledge of the Product-to-Cash lifecycle and hands-on experience using the Revenue Cloud platform on core. Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Exam candidates should generally have 2–3 years of Product-to-Cash domain experience. 

The Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant Exam is for individuals who want to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and experience in the following areas.

  • Explain Revenue Cloud capabilities, and understand constraints and limitations of each.
  • Describe the data model of the core Revenue Cloud capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into solution blocks using out-of-the-box Revenue Cloud features.
  • Assess Product-to-Cash business processes and properly characterize use cases that translate the customer’s Product-to-Cash vision.
  • Improve existing processes and solutions by using Revenue Cloud.
  • Articulate the trade-offs involved in choosing one technical solution over another.
  • Align stakeholders on a solution and explain the business value the chosen solution generates.
  • Develop a Revenue Cloud scope of work and project plan.
  • Lead Revenue Cloud solution discovery and design sessions.
  • Implement the Revenue Cloud solution through the build, test, deployment, and adopt on stages.
  • Identify project risks, develop a mitigation plan, and communicate it effectively with the customer.
  • Identify when the use of customizations and application programming interfaces (APIs) is needed, and describe the requirements to a developer.
  • Exhibit basic knowledge of flows, Lightning page components, Context Service, Omnistudio, Business Rules Engine (BRE), APIs, permission set licenses, and permission sets.

  • Content: 60 multiple-choice questions and up to five unscored questions
  • Time allotted to complete the exam: 105 minutes
  • Passing score: 63%
  • Version: Exam questions align to the Summer ’25 Release.
  • Registration fee: US$200, JPY¥30,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Retake fee: US$100, JPY¥30,000, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
  • Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered onsite at a testing center or in an online environment; find more information on scheduling an exam here.
  • References: No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam.
  • Prerequisite: None

This exam may contain up to five additional unscored questions to gather performance data. Unscored questions are randomly integrated and have no impact on your final exam result.

The Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant Exam measures a candidate’s knowledge and skills related to the following objectives.

Revenue Cloud Platform Concepts: 18%

  • Explain how to configure foundational Salesforce features for Revenue Cloud, including flows, Lightning page components, permission set licenses, and permission sets.
  • Identify and describe Revenue Cloud features, such as Context Service, OmniStudio, Business Rules Engine (BRE), and application programming interfaces (APIs).
  • Design context-aware dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) using native Salesforce reporting tools.
  • Describe core Revenue Cloud fields, objects, and relationships between objects.

Implementation Readiness: 14%

  • Plan implementation readiness, including required licenses, permission sets, and prerequisite feature toggles.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities to stakeholders for cross-cloud project execution.
  • Develop a Revenue Cloud scope of work and project plan.
  • Drive implementation through build, test, deployment, and adoption.

Catalog Management: 16%

  • Explain Catalog Management core concepts and capabilities.
  • Given a scenario, implement a solution using the appropriate out-of-the-box Catalog Management functionality.

Configure, Price, Quote: 18%

  • Use the Product Configurator tool to customize the components and attributes of a product and validate the configuration.
  • Configure and apply pricing procedures to customer-specific business cases.
  • Given a set of customer requirements, including using Agentforce, configure and generate an accurate pricing quote.

Contracts and Orders: 11%

  • Given a scenario, configure Salesforce Contracts to meet business requirements.
  • Given a scenario, configure Order Management to meet business requirements.

Asset Management: 16%

  • Explain Asset Management core concepts and capabilities.
  • Given a scenario, implement a solution using the appropriate out-of-the-box Asset Management functionality.

Invoice Management: 7%

  • Explain Invoice Management core concepts and capabilities.
  • Given a scenario, implement a solution using the appropriate out-of-the-box Invoice Management functionality.
