Users with a custom profile are unable to see the Edit button on Life Science Data Change Request and Life Science Data Change Definition Managed Fields records., even for records they own.
As per current product design, only out-of-the-box (OOB) System Administrator profiles can edit the Life Science Data Change Request and LifeSciDataChgDefMngFld objects. This has been implemented to maintain data integrity.
Enable the following permissions on the user’s profile or permission set:
This restores visibility of the Edit button.
2. Use Alternative LWC
If granting elevated permissions is not desirable , use the alternative Lightning Web Component (LWC):
Use the built-in Lightning component to create a new tab to approve or reject a change request.
