          Prompt Template Output Languages

          Prompt Template Output Languages

You can configure the languages that a prompt template can use in its output. Languages that you select appear in the Preview Language picklist in the Prompt Builder workspace.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Platform, or Einstein or Agentforce for Sales or Service add-on, or Agentforce Foundations

Prompt templates use any language that Prompt Builder offers. Supported languages are integrated with the Einstein Trust Layer and can use its data masking and toxicity scoring features.

Deselect languages in Allowed Response Languages to make them unavailable in a prompt template. Prompt responses default to the user’s language, or to English if the Preview or response language isn’t configured. To request a specific language, specify the outputLanguage parameter in your request.

You can also use other languages, but the trust layer features might not be available for these languages, and the responses might not be optimized for business-appropriate phrasing. To enable these languages, turn on Global Language Support from Einstein Setup.

Large Language Models generally don’t have official support for specific response languages, and some may not perform well for all global languages. Be sure to test your selected model with your desired response language to deliver properly localized responses.
