            Optimize Search Results

            Ensure that users see relevant results. Manage searchable objects and fields, filter out irrelevant results with rules, and select which objects to always search.

            • Manage Searchable Objects and Fields
              Optimize search results and make search more efficient by excluding objects and fields that aren’t important to your users. You can manage searchable objects for each profile in global search and for Experience Cloud configurations. You can manage searchable custom fields for all configurations. 
            • Filter Search with Rules
              Filter out irrelevant results before your users see them by adding rules to a search configuration. Rules are hidden filters that define the scope of the search results to show. 
            • Customize Explicit Search Filters
              In Einstein Search, you can define explicit search filters that narrow the results based on certain criteria. To further tailor the search experience for specific users, you can customize a default explicit search filter based on a profile for an object. For example, you can customize the search filters that are available for the Contacts object specifically for the Contract Manager profile.
            • Select Which Objects to Always Search in Global Search
              For new and inactive users, Einstein sometimes doesn’t have enough data to accurately determine which objects to search. For these users, search results can exclude important objects. Select objects to always search for a user profile to ensure that important objects are always included. You need a global search configuration to define objects to always search.
