For optimal dataset performance, set the retention window to at least four days.
Because event log files have a 24-hour generation period, you don’t see your data in the app for the first day after you create it. The app includes some sample data, so you can preview your dashboards in the meantime. The sample data for a particular event remains in the app until it’s fully replaced with the data from an actual event. Event log file data is available for the past 30 days. If you have a Developer Edition org, it’s available for the last 24 hours.
