Considerations for Direct Report Queries
Keep these considerations in mind when adding Lightning reports to CRM Analytics dashboards.
- You can visualize report data in any dashboard widget except for date and range widgets. Currently, tabular and summary report formats are supported.
- When you change and save a report, those changes are visible in dashboards that use the report.
- Direct report queries support faceting, binding, data source linking, and saved views. Targeted faceting using direct report queries isn’t supported.
- Some report functionality isn’t available in a CRM Analytics dashboard, including record actions and column-level sorting. Also, direct report queries aren’t available in CRM Analytics notifications, subscriptions, and watchlists.
- Formula fields in a report only appear with the Grouping view. Formula fields don’t appear in the Details and Summary views.
