          Add a Filter in a Recipe

          Filter data in a recipe to remove rows that you don’t need in your target dataset.

          Required Editions

          Available in Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
          Available with CRM Analytics, which is available for an extra cost in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions. Also available in Developer Edition.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create a recipe: Edit CRM Analytics Dataflows OR Edit Dataset Recipes
          Note

          1. On the recipe page, click Filter button.
            The Filter button appears on the Data Prep screen.
          2. Click + and select the column to filter by.
            Click the + button to add a filter condition. You can add multiple filter conditions.
          3. Enter the filter condition.
            For a dimension column, you can enter your own value instead of selecting an existing column value.
            The filter condition includes the column, operator, and value.
          4. lick Apply.
          5. To enter another condition, click Add filter condition button.
          6. When you have added all your conditions, click Save.
            The filter appears as a step in the left pane of the recipe.

          7. Save the recipe.

          Note Filters in recipes filter rows that meet all specified conditions.
