Create Datasets Directly from Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
The Salesforce CRM Analytics Connector for Excel makes it easy to import data from Microsoft Excel 2013 to CRM Analytics.
The CRM Analytics Connector for Excel is available as an add-in for Excel 2013 on the desktop and Excel Online in Office 365. The Connector is available from the Office Add-In Store or your organization’s private add-in catalog. After you install the Connector just point and click to import data from Excel to CRM Analytics.
Considerations When Using theCRM Analytics Connector for Excel
- To load Excel data when using a My Domain URL, such as MyDomainName.my.salesforce.com, save the data locally in .csv format, and then use the CRM Analytics .csv upload tool to load the data.
- Null measure handling isn’t supported when you load data using the CRM Analytics Connector for Excel. Null measure values are replaced with zeros in the resulting dataset, even if null measure handling is enabled in your org.
