Why is my data sync job failing with “string is too long” errors?
Data sync updates can fail with field length errors that occur when the size of the data defined in the Salesforce object doesn’t match the size of the data in data sync.
The error message looks similar to this, although the details of the column differ based on the source data.
When this happens, a Salesforce admin with access to the source object needs to update the field length in the object.
