Open Salesforce Records from CRM Analytics dashboards in New Browser
Tabs
By default, selecting a Salesforce record action in a CRM Analytics dashboard opens the
record in a new Lightning Experience tab. To change the default behavior, so that selecting an
action opens the record in a new browser tab, enable this setting. The setting applies to
dashboards in the CRM Analytics tab and dashboards embedded in Salesforce pages.
Required Editions
Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
Available for an extra cost in: Enterprise, Performance, and
Unlimited Editions. Also available in: Developer Edition

Use CRM Analytics
To set up CRM Analytics dashboards to open records in new browser tabs, complete the
following steps.
From Setup, enter Analytics in the Quick Find
box, then select Settings.
Select Open Salesforce records in new browser tabs.
Click Save.
