Prerequisites for Tableau Views in CRM Analytics
Publishing Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server content to CRM Analytics and viewing it requires the appropriate licenses, org and user account setup, and permissions assigned to user accounts and apps.
License Requirements
To publish Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server views to CRM Analytics, these licenses must be provisioned.
- Creator or Explorer (can publish) license for Tableau
- CRM Analytics Plus license or CRM Analytics Growth license
Version Requirements
To publish Tableau Server visualizations, Tableau Server users must install Release 2022.3 or higher.
Configure Publishing Settings in Tableau
To let users publish Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server content to CRM Analytics, ask your Tableau admin to complete these steps in the Tableau site.
Let Users Publish Tableau Content
Configure your Salesforce org to let users publish Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server dashboards, sheets, and stories to a CRM Analytics app or Lightning page.

Enable Tableau Cloud content publishing for users.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Analytics, and then select Settings.
- Select Allow Users to publish content from Tableau to CRM Analytics.
- Click Save.

Enable Tableau View Embedding.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Tableau, and then select Tableau Embedding.
- Select Turn on Tableau View Lightning Web Component.
- Click Save.
- Grant users access to the CRM Analytics apps and dashboards that they’ll publish Tableau Cloud and Tableau Server content to. Alternatively, users can create a blank app or dashboard and publish Tableau views to it.
