Import Usage Data to Analytics for Subscriber Lifecycle Management App
Import usage data from an external source to the Analytics for Subscriber Lifecycle Management app to show usage metrics in relevant dashboards.
- Create a CSV file with these fields (Field Name), in this order, with these exact names. Field names are case-sensitive.
Name Contents AccountId (Text) Unique ID to identify the account that owns the subscription. Product2Id (Text) Unique ID to identify the product. Year (Text) Effective year for the subscription. Month (Text) Number of months. Days (Text) Number of days. Hours_Usage (Numeric) Number of hours. Sessions (Numeric) Number of sessions. Failed_Sessions (Numeric) Number of failed sessions. Create and open CSV files using only a UTF-8-compliant text editor. Opening them in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software reformats .CSV files and makes them unusable in CRM Analytics. Also, review the format requirements, like date formats, in the CRM Analytics External Data Format Developer Guide. - Save the CSV file.
- Create the app.For information on how to create the app, see Create and Share the Analytics for Subscriber Lifecycle Management App.
- Open the app, click Datasets, and then locate the Media_Usage dataset.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Replace Data icon.
- Click Select a file or drag the file.
- Select the CSV file that you created, and then click Open.
- Click , and then click Upload File and Replace.The next time the dataflow for your app runs, CRM Analytics adds Media_Usage to relevant dashboards. For more information on uploading a CSV file, see Upload a CSV File to Create a Dataset.
