Trend Report Data in Analytics (English
Only)
Trending refers to data that is displayed over a timeline, allowing trends and patterns to emerge which can be difficult to recognize in a sea of information. If the relevant data is plotted over time, questions on sales cycles, performance, comparisons, seasonality, and more can be answered at a glance. Any data that can be visualized in time, such as opportunities or cases, can be trended. So can geographical data, such as quarterly sales in specific regions. In fact, any regularly updated dataset that has dates associated with it (a date or timestamp attribute for each row) can be trended.
