Use Data Pro to build ready-to-use semantic models faster. Describe your business goals
in natural language, and Data Pro identifies relevant data objects from your workspace, generates
necessary relationships and business logic, and creates your model's structure and calculated
fields. You can then skip manual mapping to review and refine a completed model in
minutes.

Note
Generate a Semantic Model is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services
Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if
executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta
service is at the customer's sole discretion.
After you turn on Data Pro, follow these steps to generate a
semantic model:
Select a workspace that includes data.
From the Assets list, select your semantic model.
From the Add menu, select Semantic
Model.
Under Create New, select From Data
Object.
Click Build with Data Pro.
Describe your analytics goal in detail using natural language. You can add the metrics,
data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) your business needs. Then, select
Suggest Objects.
Review the data objects identified by Data Pro and refine the list by selecting or
deselecting items to align with your business goal.
After you review the data objects, click Create.
Data Pro builds the model in the background, including the generation of relationships and
business logic. You can perform other tasks while the build is in progress and return to the
model later.
Limitations
These limitations apply to semantic model generation:
The suggested data objects are from your current workspace. To get the best results, verify
that your workspace includes all the objects you need for your analysis.
This feature is available only for workspaces with up to 100 data objects.
The feature currently supports only your default data space. Before you begin, verify
that your data objects are in this space and available for your model.
