When Agentforce for Analytics and Concierge: Analytics Q&A are enabled in Tableau
Next, you can ask questions to explore your data in the Agentforce panel (in a metric details
page, dashboard view, or embedded Tableau Next dashboard). When Agentforce for Analytics is
enabled in Slack, you can use it to ask questions about shared Tableau Next metric and dashboard
data in that context.
To explore metrics and insights, and ask questions in the agent:
Tableau Next Consumer (Unmetered) or Tableau Next Consumer or Tableau Unmetered Self-Service Consumer or Tableau Next Self-Service Consumer
permission set
Concierge: Analytics Q&A requires that any semantic model it queries is enabled for use
with Agentforce for Analytics in Tableau Next. A Tableau Next user who has Semantic Model
editing permission must enable the semantic model in the Analytics Agent Readiness dialog box.
For more information, see Enable Analytics Agent Readiness in Data 360 help.
Note Admins can create fallback lists of models per agent for scenarios where the semantic
context isn't clear. For more information, see Set Up Agent Scoping for Concierge.
If you are opening the Agentforce panel for the first time, select Got
It to acknowledge the disclaimer and continue.
In the Agentforce panel, make sure the agent you want to use is selected. Select the arrow
next to the Agentforce panel title, and then select the agent.
The default name for the Analytics Agent template is "Analytics and Visualization". Your
agent name may be different because Tableau Next admins can customize the name when creating a
new agent from the template.
Have a conversation with the agent by asking more questions. Sometimes the agent will ask
you to clarify what you are asking for. If a visualization is available, it is displayed with
the text answer.
Select Sources for details on how the agent analyzed your request,
and the data sources and metrics used for analysis.
