Get a link to a Tableau visualization or dashboard in its current or default view. The current view is the visualization or dashboard as you see it, with any modifications you’ve made. The default view is the visualization or dashboard without filters, selections, or other modifications applied.

Before you share a link to a visualization or dashboard, make sure that the users you’re sending the link to have access to view the asset. You can set the general access for the asset to let all users in an org view the asset. If general access isn’t set for the asset, the only users who can view the link are those listed under Users with Access on the Manage Access tab for the asset.
