          Content Assets in B2C Commerce

Salesforce B2C Commerce supports a wide variety of content assets, including HTML text, graphics, and video. You use content assets to provide your customers non-product related information such as customer support pages, special sales, size charts, and gardening tips.

Content assets are stored in libraries and folders for easy retrieval. Create content assets or import existing content assets. You can also use content delivery networks (CDN).

In Page Designer, you can bind a component attribute to a content asset attribute. Updates to the content asset automatically propagate to every page that uses it. For more information, see Binding Components to Content Assets.

          • Assign a Site to a Library
          • Copy Private Library Contents into a shared library
          • Define a folder structure and organize non-product content within that structure
          • Import content assets and library structure into your libraries

          Content Delivery Network (CDN)

Use your (external) content delivery network (CDN) with B2C Commerce to deliver static and Dynamic Imaging Service (DIS) content to your customers. And you can use a CDN that is embedded within B2C Commerce.

To use a CDN, configure Business Manager for:

          • the Embedded CDN
          • an External CDN
