Create a Promotion in B2C Commerce
All promotions (product, shipping, and order) are created the same way, but have different rule specifications.

Follow these basic instructions to create a promotion. We recommend you configure promotion preferences and check out before starting. After you've completed your promotion, add it to a campaign or A/B test. Keep in mind when viewing your promotions that a promotion belonging to a disabled campaign still shows an enabled flag. When running multiple promotions at the same time, use compatibility and ranking to prevent undesirable combinations.

Click App Launcher
, and then select Merchant Tools | Site | Online Marketing | Promotions.
To perform standard actions such as opening the selection in a new tab or window, right-click links on this grid.Select promotions and click Delete to delete the selected promotions or More to enable or disable products or to enable or disable globally excluded products. - Click New.

Define or edit general information.
Use the Searchable field to search, via Salesforce B2C Commerce APIs, for all qualifying and discounted products that are associated with a product promotion. This field shows all qualifying and discounted products in one place on the storefront, giving customers more information and choices to help make better buying decisions.
- Set the promotion's general compatibility with the Exclusivity rule. You can configure exceptions to this rule with combinability and mutual exclusion. See the Mutually Exclusive and Combinable Promotions section of Promotion Compatibility Promotion Compatibility. Click Apply.
- In the Promotion Rule section, specify the promotion class and enter the required information.
- Click Apply beneath the Promotion class section.
