Near Real-Time Customer Segmentation with Data 360
B2C Commerce storefronts can now leverage customer segments created in Data 360 on a near real-time basis, eliminating the need for batch activation. With up-to-date customer segments, your storefronts can provide timely, personalized, and targeted shopper experiences.
- Additional Near Real-Time Segmentation Mappings (When Not Using the Data Kit)
The commerce-b2c-datakit data kit automatically configures the data model object (DMO) mappings required for near real-time segmentation. Internally, the data kit uses the Web and Mobile Apps connector to ingest engagement events. If you don't use the data kit for data ingestion (for example, if you use the Apache Iceberg connector), you must manually create these additional mappings for near real-time segmentation to work properly. - Create an Identity Resolution Rule Set for Near Real-Time Segmentation
