Import and Export Price Books in B2C Commerce
You can import a price book as either an editable or a read-only price book. A read-only price book takes less time to import but you can't edit it in Business Manager. The default is editable.

Importing a read-only price book requires enabling the global preference. You can
change the preference later to import an editable price book. To use read-only price
books, contact your Salesforce admin to enable the High Scale Price Books
feature.

Click App Launcher
, and then select
Administration | Global Preferences | Import & Export.
- Select Import All Price Books as Read-Only.

To import a price book

Click App Launcher
, and then select
Merchant Tools | Site | Products and Catalogs | Import & Export.
- In the price books section, click Import.
- Select one or more price books and click Next.
- Click Import.
- When the validation finishes, click Next.

Select the import mode.
If you're replacing an editable price book with an optimized price book, select REPLACE. In general, when importing an optimized price book, we recommend using REPLACE for the fastest import times and fewest import failures.
- Click Import. The status appears at the bottom of the page. You can refresh until you see Success.

To export a price book

Click App Launcher
, and then select
Merchant Tools | Site | Products and Catalogs | Import & Export.
- In the price books section, click Export.
- Select the price books and click Next.
- Specify whether you want to export search results or only the selected price books.
- Enter a name for your exported file.
- Click Export. The status appears at the bottom of the page. You can refresh until you see Success.
