          Image Variants

There are four standard view types: large, medium, small, and swatch. You can represent each product with multiple images per view type. This topic applies to B2C Commerce.

To define variation attributes for base products, click App Launcher App Launcher, and then select Merchant Tools | Site | Products and Catalogs | Products | product | Variationstab.

To define image settings for the storefront catalog, click App Launcher App Launcher, and then select Site | Products and Catalogs | Catalogs | catalog | Edit | Image Settingstab.

See Configuring Variation Attributes for Image Assignment.

You use the product variation attribute value to identify the images for a variation product. For example, use "red" to identify the images of the "red variation product.

          Note
Note You can assign images only to the base product, not to the variation product itself. The variation instance can retrieve images. Salesforce B2C Commerce automatically searches for the matching product variation attribute value. For example, search using the color code.
