Automate Account Provisioning with Just-In-Time User Provisioning

Automate Account Provisioning with Just-In-Time User Provisioning

The Just-in-time user provisioning setting enables automated account provisioning and linking for new Account Manager user accounts.

Why: With Just-in-time user provisioning, Account Manager administrators don’t need to pre-populate users in Account Manager. After users are automatically provisioned, the account administrator can assign roles to these users.

How: Enable Just-in-time user provisioning in The Account Manager Organization Details page. Make sure Identity Federation is set to Enabled or Allowed and Salesforce My Domain is verified.

With Just-in-time user provisioning active, the Account Manager login flow for new users automatically creates and activates a user account in Account Manager. The flow also links the user’s Account Manager account with the user’s Salesforce Identity account that they use for single sign-on (SSO). Just-in-time user provisioning also supports SSO established through third-party IAM using Salesforce Identity.
