Proxy Zone DNS CNAME Format Changes
For new Proxy Zones, the DNS CNAME format now ensures that each generated CNAME is unique.
Newly generated CNAMEs use the following format.
commcloud.{prod|dev}-{realmID}-{zone-name}.cc-ecdn.net
For example, a production instance, with a zone name of “mycompany.com”, and a realm ID of “bbaa” generates this CNAME.
commcloud.prod-bbaa-mycompany-com.cc-ecdn.net
Note This format change occurs only when creating Proxy Zone DNS CNAMEs. You do not need to
update any DNS CNAMEs for existing Proxy Zones.
