Customize the Payment Section of Checkout in a Commerce Store
After you set up your payment service provider, use Experience Builder to customize how
you collect payment and billing details from your customers during checkout in a B2B
store. You can customize checkout only if your store uses custom checkout. If your store uses
managed checkout, you can’t customize the Checkout page.
If you have Salesforce Payments, use the Salesforce Payments component. In the
component properties panel, enter a payment method set key, select whether to use
manual capture, select whether to enable saved payments, and make other customizations
as needed. If you have a B2B store, you can also choose to show a purchase order
option.
If you have a third-party payment provider, use the Payment or Dual Payment
component (B2B Commerce only). The Payment component includes a credit card option. The Dual
Payment component includes both a credit card option and a purchase order option.
If you want your B2B store to accept only purchase orders, use the Purchase Order
component.
(Optional) If you have Salesforce Payments and you want to provide digital wallet
payment options, add the Express Checkout component. If your store uses Omnichannel
Inventory or a third-party inventory service, then orders placed using express payment
options fail. Express checkout payment options don’t support inventory checks.
Express Checkout supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. In the component
properties panel, enter a payment method set key and make other customizations as needed.
Express Checkout doesn’t support split shipping or subscriptions.
Add or customize the Billing Address component.
The Payment component includes a Billing Address component by default.
(Optional) If you have Salesforce Payments, you can customize the Payment Processing page.
If you offer a payment option that sends your customers to a third-party site
during checkout, this page redirects them back to your store. Examples of
third-party payment sites include Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm.
