Using Salesforce CMS for Product Media
A Content Management System (CMS) workspace offers a secure environment to create, edit, organize, and manage digital content for your B2B Commerce stores. When you create a store, a CMS workspace for the store and a public channel from the store to that workspace are added. You can upload or import product media from a CMS workspace into your store.
Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?
A store can access content from all workspaces that include the store’s public channel. You can change the public channel assigned to the store. See Assign a CMS Public Channel to a Commerce Store.
To add the store’s public channel to a workspace, see Add a Channel to a CMS Workspace.
When you use a CSV file to import images globally for all stores, you must specify a CMS workspace where the imported images are linked. If you don’t have a CMS workspace, create one before you begin the global import process. See Create a CMS Workspace to Import Images to a Commerce Store. When you import to a store, you must use the default workspace for that store. You can’t specify that the import process use a different workspace.
- Assign a CMS Public Channel to a Commerce Store
When you create a store, a CMS workspace and a public channel to the workspace are added. If you have an LWR store built on an enhanced LWR site, you can change the public channel. A store can access content from all CMS workspaces that include the store’s public channel.
