Use a Custom URL for Your Store

The default URL for a Commerce store includes a temporary path you specified when creating the store. The default URL is suitable for testing pre-production stores during development. However, before you launch a B2B store created with an LWR template into live production, we recommend that you configure a custom URL for the store. Associate the custom URL with a custom domain served by the Salesforce CDN, with Cloudflare as the CDN partner. For B2B stores created with an Aura template, a custom URL is optional. However, we recommend using a custom domain and corresponding CDN if broad access and high security are required.

          Required Editions

This task assumes that a Salesforce admin has already configured a custom domain that uses the Salesforce CDN, and connected the domain to a store. See Configure a Custom Domain and CDN.

          1. Click Setup at the top of the page, and then select Setup.
          2. In the Quick Find box, enter Custom URLs, and select Custom URLs.
          3. Click New Custom URL.
          4. For Domain, search for and select the custom domain.
          5. For Site, search for and select your store.
          6. For Path, enter the path to append to the custom domain to access your store.
          7. Click Save.
            Note
Note The URL for your store is a combination of the custom domain name and path. For example, if your custom domain is mydomain and you enter vintagejewelry for the path, the URL to your store is www.mydomain.com/vintagejewelry.
