Interpret Commerce Analytics Dashboards and Reports
Commerce Analytics provides preconfigured dashboards composed of Lightning reports. To monitor key metrics for your B2B Commerce stores, use the Business Overview Dashboard. For details about your store’s payment processing, promotional effectiveness, and overall financial well-being, use the Commerce Payments, Promotions, and Finance dashboards. To get insights into order volume, fulfillment efficiency, returns, and refunds, use the Commerce Orders Dashboard.

Business Overview Dashboard
The Business Overview Dashboard includes these reports.
The default currency is USD. If your store uses multiple currencies, a conversion is applied to aggregate the calculations.

| Total Orders | The total number of orders placed in your store or stores. Use the Total Orders report to track sales trends by charting the metric over different time periods. |
| Order Funnel | The percentage of carts converted from cart, to checkout, to order in your store or stores. |
| Average Order Value (AOV) | The average value of orders placed by customers in your store or stores. Order value excludes the cost of tax and shipping. Use the AOV and Total Order Value reports to assess your customers’ spending habits over time. |
| Total Order Value | The total value of all orders placed in your store or stores. Order value excludes the cost of tax and shipping. |
| Total Number of Customers | The total number of customers for your store or stores over time. The number is calculated as the count of unique customer IDs from purchases within the specified timeframe. |
| Order Conversion Rate | The percentage of carts converted to orders in your store or stores. Use the Order Conversion Rate and Cart Conversion Funnel to identify opportunities for improving the checkout process. |
| Top Categories Sold | The most popular product categories by number of orders. |
| Top Products Sold | The most popular products by number of orders. |
| Top Promotions by Orders | The promotions applied to the most orders. This calculation includes both manual and automatic promotions. Automatic promotions apply to all eligible carts. Manual promotions require a coupon code that the customer enters. |
| Top Coupons by Orders | The coupons applied to the most orders. This calculation includes only manual promotions. |
Commerce Payments Dashboard
The Commerce Payments Dashboard includes these reports.
The default currency is USD. If your store uses multiple currencies, a conversion is applied to aggregate the calculations.

| Payment by Status | The current state of your transactions (for example, Authorized, Refunded, or Canceled). |
| Payment Authorization Amount | The total value of all authorized payments. |
| Payment Capture Amount | The total value of all captured payments. |
| Payment Refund Amount | The total value of all refunded payments. |
| Payment Authorization by Gateway | Monitor the success rate of payment authorizations for each payment gateway. |
| Payment Capture by Gateway | Track how customers use specific payment gateways to initiate purchases. |
| Payment Transaction by Store | The payment transactions across your different stores. |
Commerce Finance Dashboard
The Commerce Finance Dashboard includes these reports.
The default currency is USD. If your store uses multiple currencies, a conversion is applied to aggregate the calculations.

| Total Sales Over Time | The total value of sales over time. |
| Breakdown of Total Sales | A comprehensive view of your gross sales, discounts, taxes, returns, and shipping in a stacked format. |

Commerce Orders Dashboard
The Commerce Orders Dashboard includes these reports.

| Return Rate by Time | A line chart showing the return rates over time, identifying periods of higher return activity. |
| Returns by Reason | A chart categorizing return reasons to help identify common issues. |
| Return by Product | A detailed report showing the product name, SKU, order quantity, return quantity, and return rate. |
| Discounts by Reason | A report analyzing discounts offered as appeasements, helping you analyze discount strategies. |
