Open Source Components for B2B Stores

Open Source Components for B2B Stores

Open source components offer editable source code for standard B2B store components. Use an open source component to enhance the component or customize it to meet your requirements without having to rebuild the entire component.

          Required Editions

          View supported editions.

The source code is available in a public Git repository. You can clone it and customize the components using familiar tools like Salesforce Developer Experience (Salesforce DX) and Visual Studio Code (VS Code).

Deploy your changes using standard Salesforce DX workflows. Customized components appear in Experience Builder under the Open Source section. You can replace the standard component with your custom version.

          Note
Note Test your changes in a sandbox environment before publishing them to the production environment.

          Component Updates

Salesforce pushes upgrades to open source components to the same Git repository where the original open source components are stored. You can choose when to pull in the latest upgrades. If you upgrade, you must manually merge your custom changes.
