Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?
- Add a Product to a B2B Commerce Store from the Workspace
Add a product to up to five categories. The product can include variations such as color and size. You can also add digital products, which can be excluded from shipping calculations. - Add Shipping Weight Options to a B2B Store
If you set up shipping rates based on weight, you can add fields to the product page to enter weight for individual products. - Configure Your B2B Commerce Org to Support Digital Products
Add digital products to your store, such as downloadable cookbooks, e-books, music files, or software. To do this, you must configure the page layout for the Product object to include the Shipping Charge Not Applicable field. - Assign a Tax Policy to a Product
After you select the default tax policy for your B2B store, the tax policy and tax treatment for your products are updated. To override the default tax policy for individual products, assign a new tax policy to each of the products. You can manually assign tax policies to products only if your store is using Stripe or an extension provider. - Create Featured Product Collections for Your B2B Store
Upsell or cross-sell your products by associating a product with up to 10 featured products. Create multiple user-defined collections, such as Complementary Products, Best Sellers, New Arrivals, and more. Showcase these static product recommendations on your B2B store's home page, product listing pages, or product detail pages. - Show Product Collection from Any Category on the Home Page
Show products from any category in a collection on your D2C store's the home page. For example, show all the new arrival products from a category by adding them to a Carousel component on the home page. - Considerations for Einstein Product Descriptions and Fields

Integrate videos into the product gallery to enhance your store and provide a richer shopping experience. - Product Image Optimization
B2B Commerce store components that include product images automatically scale the images for optimal performance and remain sharp across different devices. - Add Media to Products and Categories
To provide more information about your products and categories, add images, videos, and attachments. You can associate media to parent and variation products. You can also associate a banner image to your B2B store’s product category pages. - Add Products to Categories in a B2B Store
To make a product available in a B2B Commerce store, add it to a category. The maximum number of products in a category is 1.8 million. You can add products from either the Category workspace or the Product workspace. - Choose Product Categories to Use in Breadcrumbs
The order of breadcrumbs is determined by a combination of a category and product and the date and time that their association was established. The first category that a product is associated with is the product’s primary category and becomes the basis of the breadcrumb order. You can customize the default order of breadcrumbs by explicitly identifying categories as primary. When you identify a category as primary, your store uses it to construct the category path that populates the breadcrumbs on the Product Detail page. You can associate a product with multiple categories, but it can have only one primary category. - Purchase Quantity Rules for a B2B Store
Use rules to control the amount of a product that a customer can buy. - Product Variations and Attributes
Use variations to extend the range of products that you offer in your B2B store. For example, add size and color options to a tee shirt. Configure variations to be searchable in your stores and available in multiple languages. - Product Variation Search Results
Choose how you want to display product search results on your B2B store’s Product List page. Options include showing all the variations of the parent product separately, showing only the parent product, or showing only the best match. - Entitlement Policies for B2B Stores
Entitlement policies make it easy to manage buyer groups and products. You can use entitlement policies to decide which products a buyer group can see, and whether the buyers can see the product prices. When you create a store, the system automatically creates a default buyer group and a default entitlement policy. You can create additional buyer groups and entitlement policies as needed. - Qualification Rules in Your B2B Commerce Store
Using qualification rules in your B2B Commerce store simplifies the process of defining which products are available to which buyer groups, reducing implementation costs and significantly simplifying product configuration.
