Promotion Combinations

There are hundreds of ways to combine promotion levels, types, and qualifiers to craft the perfect promotion for your store’s needs.

There are three levels of promotions: order, product, and shipping.

• Order-level promotions discount the order as a whole.
• Product-level promotions provide discounts on individual products, such as percent off, fixed prices, or bonus products.
• Shipping-level promotions offer free or discounted shipping.

After you choose your promotion’s level, you can use qualifiers to control which orders receive the promotion. There are different ways to mix and match qualifiers by using rules and conditions. Qualifiers aren't necessary for every promotion type.

The last piece of a promotion is the discount, which depends on the level of promotion you’ve selected and your qualifiers.
