Modify or Remove Searchable Custom Fields

Before renaming or deleting a custom field that is configured as searchable in your B2B store, mark it as not searchable, and remove it from Results Filters, Sort Rules, and Displayable Fields.

Required Editions

  1. Mark the custom field as not searchable in Searchable Fields.
  2. Remove the custom field from Results Filters.
  3. Delete the custom field from Sort Rules.
  4. Remove the custom field from Displayable Fields.
  5. Delete or modify the custom field.
  6. Perform a full update of the search index.
