Set Up a Standard Price Book

All products in your B2B store must be included in the standard price book before you can add them to custom price books for specific stores or buyer groups. You can have only one standard price book.

          Required Editions

          1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the Store dropdown.
          2. Select Merchandising | Products.
          3. Select an existing product or create one, and scroll to the Price Books section.
          4. Click Add a Standard Price.
          5. Select Active.
          6. Select a currency.
For B2B stores, the standard price book contains an entry for every currency that you want to sell an item in. For example, to sell an item in USD and CAD, you make two entries for the same item.
          7. In the List Price field, enter the standard price.
You can add any price as the standard list price. When you add the product to a store or buyer group price book, you can change its price. The price in an assigned price book takes priority.
          8. Select a currency.
For B2B stores, the standard price book contains an entry for every currency that you want to sell an item in. For example, to sell an item in USD and CAD, you make two entries for the same item.
          9. If the currency that you selected is the only currency that you plan to use, click Save. To add more currency types for the same product, click Save & New.
